They said they were from 02 about a PAYG sim I’d supposedly ordered, even though I definitely hadn’t. Then they suggested it might be linked to some prize draw or survey I’d taken part in - which was a no as well. I told them straight up it sounded like a scam, but they kept saying it wasn’t.

Then I asked where they got my permission from to call me. Told them not to call me any more and ended the call immediately. Could hear loads of people chatting in the background.

Pretended to be 02 and tried get my info but I wouldn’t give it. They then told me “my info” which was completely wrong. They even used the address I usually give to dodgy sites, so I reckon they must’ve bought my details. Don’t verify anything with them, just call 02 customer support yourself.
