Spoke to this very rude lady from India who got proper narked when I told her I’d changed my name to Asif Mohammed and that my missus was now called Ashida. She even wanted me to spell them out, which I reckon just pushed her buttons even more. The abuse came thick and fast after that, but I’m not blocking the number - I’m quite up for a bit more of this banter!

Every single day they ring me up asking for a person who doesn't even live at my place. I've explained plenty of times that no one with that name is here, but they just keep on calling!

Got a call at 14:54 but when I answered it went straight to voicemail and then the caller hung up. Tried calling back but the number was unreachable. To me this seemed like a suspicious call, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

Got another one of those scam calls today, a prerecored message warning my internet would be disconnected. When it showed up on my landline, the caller ID said it was from abroad. Tried calling BT’s 1572 to block it and weirdly, the number they gave me to block was the same as the scammer’s. This is the fifth time today I've been targeted, each time from a different number, all the same con. Proper annoying!
