Got a ring from this number the other day, some bloke claiming my computer was blasting out spam. I asked him what machine he meant, the MAC address, and any error codes, but he just said "all your computers". We went back and forth with some tech talk and obvious fibs, then he snapped and told me to stop cutting him off. I called him a rude, clueless tosser and ended the call. Honestly, I get a real kick out of messing with these scammers - chances are I know tons more about computers than they'll ever understand.

Some bloke from abroad called me, and I told him straight up that it was a scam and to leave me alone. He wanted to know how I was so sure it was a con, so I told him I get these types of calls all the time, I just know the signs. Then he claimed he knew I had a computer because my name and address had popped up somewhere. I asked him to tell me exactly what my name and address were, and then he just cut the call! Don’t be fooled by how confident he sounds.

Got a call from some bloke with a foreign accent who somehow knew my name, saying he was from Technical Support. I cut him off straight away, said I didn’t require any help and told him not to bother calling me again. Got a ring from this number a little while ago. The guy on the other end, speaking with a strong accent, said he was from some kind of tech support and warned me that my computer was infected with viruses and malware.
