I hardly ever pick up my phone unless I’m certain who's calling. Most times it’s just dead silence for a bit then they put the phone down. It’s really making me anxious, like I’m trapped where I’m supposed to feel secure. These days I must check 1471 all the time because every ring sets my nerves on edge.

Got a call from a number showing as from Coventry but said International at the same time, it rang once then just dropped when it hit answerphone. There's also this other one that's almost the same but ends in 22, keeps blowing up my phone. Total pain!!

On the 6th of December 2018, my elderly mum got calls from this number five times. Mum struggles a lot with her hearing, and every time she picked up, she told the caller she couldn’t hear properly and asked him to stop ringing her. Despite that, the calls kept coming. I tried ringing the number today to sort it out, but nobody picked up. It’s really frustrating.

Been getting calls from this number like 5 times just today. I use a call blocker thingy so usually the phone doesn’t even ring at home and goes to voicemail right away. But these people, and some other numbers doing the same thing every single weekday, are driving me mad. It's turning into a proper headache each day. Got calls from this number quite a few times this week, but every time it just hangs up right when my answer machine starts talking or just before. I don't pick up my landline anymore at all. If it's important, they can leave a message and I'll ring back. Seeing what others have said, it's pretty clear this is just another scam.

Got a call recently from someone claiming I could cut down on my bills. I asked them how they knew the details of my phone and internet charges. They snapped back rudely, telling me to "F off, you arse." Pretty clear they weren’t a proper Open Reach rep, haha.
