Received a call from this number, but the caller promptly disconnected. This has occurred on numerous occasions now. If I had caller ID on my home phone, I wouldn’t have picked up in the first place. Loads of scam calls doing the rounds. They ring up claiming your phone insurance or internet contract needs renewing. My dad got caught out by one just yesterday, seemed legit at first but then they started pressing him for his bank info. They came out with some nonsense about data protection and needing to set up a fresh payment because the policy was expiring. Seriously, watch out for these scammers, they’re everywhere!

I got a call from 02476682063 and there was just silence at the start for nearly 40 seconds before someone finally spoke. It turned out to be a telesales person pushing for me to change to a cheaper landline deal. Since I’m on the TPS list, I asked who they were and where they found my number. They said they were representing a firm called "Regent Street," but I can’t find anything about them. They also claimed they got my details from Openreach, which makes no sense as I’m not even signed up with Openreach.

Got a call from 02476682063 at about 1pm on 10th August 2019. My call blocker kicked in and cut it off. Honestly, nobody seems able to figure out how to put an end to these annoying rings. Would be great if the caller ID actually showed a company name. Even better if these calls didn’t even show up on my phone! Is there any chance of that happening? This was call number 1931 since January 1st, 2011. Absolutely fed up with it all.

Received two calls on a Saturday morning - first at 08:58 and then again at 09:59. No one was on the line, just a robotic voice. It’s utterly infuriating to be disturbed on a weekend, especially when it seems to be part of some dodgy scam. I just can’t fathom why BT allows their service, for which I pay a fee, to be exploited in this manner. Surely, they ought to take some responsibility as they have the means to monitor who’s using their lines and for what shady activities.
