So, I got this nuisance on the phone for a whole 37 minutes by pretending I was hunting down the details they wanted. Managed to have my brekkie and a quick wash while keeping them waiting, just saying I was still trying to find the info. After a while, the bloke got pretty irritated when I began crooning the national anthem and telling him to bugger off. Next time, I’m planning to smash the 40-minute record and wrap it up with some sitar tunes while chewing on the handset!

Today at precisely 15:56, I received a call from this number. I uttered 'hello' a couple of times before I got a response. This isn’t the first time they’ve tried to reach me either; they’ve called multiple times before. I've now taken the liberty of blocking them from getting through to me again!

Got a call from 02476682037 around 9.45 on 4th April 2018. When I answered, there was silence for nearly a minute before a man with an Indian accent asked if I was Mrs Mary Rose. I told him no, and he said he was calling from BT about my phone bill. We don't use BT, so I just ended the call. This is actually the second time this number has bothered me. Honestly, I wish they'd stop ringing.

Honestly, I'd never share my phone number with anyone - not even banks, hospitals, or local councils. Their security feels so rubbish that hackers can easily get hold of your digits. It’s just not worth the risk.

Out of the blue, I got a call from a woman who asked if she was speaking to me. I confirmed it was. She claimed she could cut my phone bill by £4 a month, which sounded great. However, she then asked who my current provider was, so obviously she couldn’t actually tell me how much I’d save right off the bat. She said she was calling from some company called 'Switch And Save'. I decided not to share any details and just ended the call.
