Got a call from an automated bloke saying he was “Heather from HMRC” and that there’s some sort of claim against me that needs urgent attention. I know for a fact HMRC don’t ring people up like that. I’ve saved the number and reported it to HMRC so they can try and shut these scams down.

Definitely a scam. They say they’re from HMRE but it’s just a robo-call telling you to ring them back. Best to ignore it completely.

Got a call from some robot voice supposedly from HMRC saying they've started some case against me and I need to ring them straight away on a number I didn’t even write down. The message was all about urgency but they never used my name once. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.
