got a call from this number but it didnt sound quite legit. the bloke started with “not sure if you’re the best person to discuss your 02 account,” and i just said i was tied up and hung up. made me a bit uneasy, thought it might be some sort of scam trying to sneak charges onto my bill!

Someone called claiming they were with EE, but when I asked if they were really from EE, they just said no. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

He said he was calling on behalf of EE about some changes to small business tariffs, but only admitted who he was working for after I kept asking. Definitely steer clear of this one!

He kinda hinted he was with BT Openreach and said my account needed checking. Didn’t outright say anything false, but only fessed up he wasn’t with BT when I kept questioning him. Best steer clear of this one.
