I got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC right after I filled out a travel survey on the government website, twice actually. Not sure if it was connected or just a coincidence. They wanted me to pick an option related to some fraud investigation against me. I just ended the call and blocked their number, but then they rang again from a different one. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Just got a call from 0247526759 with a recorded message pretending to be from HM Revenue. It’s clearly a dodgy scam trying to trick you into giving away your bank info. Honestly, how thick do these scammers think people are? The government never sends recorded calls like that, and if they ever did need your bank details, they wouldn’t be asking over the phone! Best thing: don’t answer, block the number, and warn your mates too. Stay sharp!

Got a voicemail from some robotic voice with a super fake American accent, telling me to call back right away and not to ignore the "massage" - yeah, they even said massage instead of message lol. I checked the number online, it seemed dodgy so I didn’t bother calling them back and just blocked it. Cheers!

Just got a call from this number 02475267591, said it was HMRC but sounded like some weird robot with an American twang. I blocked it straight away, seemed dodgy to me. Coventry area code, so watch out!

Got a robo call supposedly from “hmrc” saying there was a problem with my tax records. I’m retired and don’t even pay tax! Hung up straight away and added the number to my block list. Total scam if u ask me.

This number rang me 3 times today. Each time, I got a voicemail with some sort of robot voice saying not to ignore the message cause it's urgent. But they never actually said what the call was about or why they were calling. Pretty annoying.
