rang up asking for the director but wouldn't drop a message. said they’d ring back - sounds like one of those cold calls for sure.

Got a call from some salesperson who kept ringing back a few times before I finally dropped the call. Then this bloke who said he was the manager called after that. He just wouldn’t accept a no, kept going on about how much money, like £1,000,000 or something, they could supposedly save my business. He didn't let me get a word in edgeways and I ended up just hanging up on him. Told him straight up, “no thanks.”

Called and asked to speak with the director but wouldn’t give any details. Said they’d ring back, but I’m pretty sure it was just a cold call.

I get calls every single day from someone pressing to speak to a director. When I ask them who they are or if I can leave a message, they just say they'll ring back and hang up. They never tell me who they actually are, so I’m guessing it’s just some sort of cold call.
