I got two calls from the same number in one day, both voicemails saying they were from HMRC. The first time I rang back, they wanted me to pay a penalty of £1952 plus some other fees through my online bank. When I told them I only had £50 in my account, they just hung up on me. The second time I tried calling after their message, no one picked up at all. Honestly, it felt like a proper scam with how smoothly they worked - I ended up speaking to three different people during that first call.

i kept getting a bunch of calls all day from this number, just an automated voice every time. really annoying having to deal with it nonstop.

Got a ring from this number, said it was HMRC but it was some robot voice, not a real person. It told me to ring back urgently cause there was an open case against me. Total scam, don't fall for it!
