Getting these call every day is proper annoying, the worst time was at 7.11 in the morning. Mum's been unwell so I picked up thinking it was her, but when I explained again to the girl that it ain't my house and it's flat roof so no loft, she still kept going on about a loft and saving money on insulation. After telling her it's not true and she's more likely a scammer, I told her to come find this supposed loft herself. Proper cheeky!

She already had our name and address, which I found strange because we’re on the telephone preference list and not on the electoral roll. She was trying to offer a free loft check, and even though I said no, she kept pushing. Plus, she had quite a strong accent, so it was hard to catch everything she said. This woman called claiming to do a "free loft insulation check". I told her we didn't need it as our loft is already fully insulated, and she just hung up straight away without saying anything else. We're on the telephone preference service, so maybe that’s why she said it wasn’t a sales call. But seriously, what’s the point in offering an inspection if you’re not trying to sell anything afterwards?
