WATCH OUT FOR SCAM CALLS! Make sure to block the number and report it to 7726 (note: this isn’t a police hotline). It’s also a good idea to write to your MP asking why we can’t report scams directly through the police’s ‘action fraud’ system anymore, and why our phone networks haven’t implemented Caller ID Authentication tech yet - that’d help cut down on these nuisance calls. If you get scam texts, forward them to 7726. Plus, any scam emails or screenshots of scam messages should be sent over to the police at ‘[email protected]’ so they can look into it.

Got a missed call from this number today, no voicemail or anything. Been getting loads of missed calls for the past three days that looked like they were from real companies, but when I checked with those businesses, they said they never rang me. Honestly, it’s kinda a relief when the number is clearly linked to a scam instead of some fake legit number.

So I blocked it, but no sooner had I done that than 02394352786 rang me five minutes later - exactly the same nonsense and the same bloke’s voice. Honestly, I’m fed up with it all. Being deaf, I just assume any landline call is dodgy. I’ve had loads of calls from various numbers, all listed on here as scams. Today, after getting really annoyed, I finally answered and told them, “I’m deaf, please send a text.” Right after that, the person just hung up. Pretty sure it was another scam call.

I keep gettin these annoying calls on my landline, absolute pain. This particular caller's number shows up from Portsmouth, and it turns out it's some kind of Isolation Scam. In the last month alone I've had about four calls from them. My answerphone really saves me, scammers almost always hang up as soon as it starts recording! Wouldn’t be without it.
