I told him I am actually registered with TPS, then he asked if I wanted to keep chatting. I pressed again about where they got my number, but he couldn’t give me an answer, so he said he'd take me off their calling list. Since switching my phone provider, the amount of spam and scam calls I receive has really shot up.

Got a recorded call about loft insulation today, trying to get me to respond to some annoying voice survey. They rang me twice in one day. Funny enough, someone else said this number is linked to HSBC. The voice on the message was a polished English bloke. I guess you can't really trust the area codes anymore since numbers can be bought from anywhere, so the code doesn't mean much.
