Got calls from a scammer two times, didn’t pick up either time and just blocked the number straight away.

02393873363, honestly I have way more scam numbers blocked than real ones. I stopped picking up calls from unknown numbers, but it really messes with my job since I’m self employed. Someone serious needs to step in and stop these scammers, it’s pure fraud and illegal stuff going on. Plus it’s just super annoying and costs me time and money. DON’T PICK UP IF THIS NUMBER CALLS, IT’S A SCAM.

Got a call on my mobile from someone claiming to be with Vodafone, trying to persuade me to switch to a cheaper plan. I said straight up I wasn’t interested in dodgy calls, but the bloke kept pushing. After I said I actually work for Vodafone, he just ended the call.

02393873363 rang me saying they were from BT and offering "options" since BT is stopping all landline services. I told them we don't have a contract with BT at all. They said we'd be with Openreach regardless, so I replied that my internet supplier, who also does phone, will get in touch. The moment I said that, they cut the call. Feels like they were fishing for my bank info. I've also reported the scam on the BT website.

Got a call from some cheat who said it was really urgent to have a word about my Vodafone account. I said I was busy in a meeting, but he kept insisting I step outside because it was absolutely crucial to check if my phone plan was good for me. Hung up and blocked the number right away.

Future-Wise tried to chat me up with some rubbish about a cheaper deal from Three. They didn’t even know my proper name and had an outdated company name on record. Total nonsense.

Claimed to be ringing from BT as a partner about our phone lines being disconnected, even tho we’re not with BT. I asked why BT themselves weren’t making the call if it was really about disconnection, and they just gave some rubbish about BT not having an outbound call team for that. I told them we actually run a telecom company ourselves and they should check their facts before calling us. Also questioned why, if they were legit, there are loads of complaints about this number scamming people and pretending to be other firms, and he had no proper answer.

‭023 9387 3363‬ rang me on my mobile and the guy on the other end wanted to talk to whoever is registered on an EE account. Thing is, we don't have any EE account at all. Same bloke called about a fortnight ago saying the exact same thing about EE. When told again we don’t have an EE account he went on about us needing to be with one of their subsidiaries or something!! Feels like a scam to me!

Got a call from this number saying they were from EE and knew I had Utility Warehouse. They tried chatting about my tariffs. I know UW isn’t part of EE (they just use their network) so I set them straight.

I’ll be honest, the salesman’s chat was convincing enough that I ended up sharing some simple details which I reckon he already had from an ad I placed for my online business. He seemed aware I was with Vodafone, so I mentioned my landline provider and contract dates too. I have to say, when I didn’t give away more info, he stuck me on hold. Usually I’m quite careful, but they’re definitely stepping up their game. Watch out!

Got a call today from a woman using this number, asking for the “EE account holder” but she didn’t bother to ask for me by name. Said she was from Future Connections and supposedly worked “with” EE. I told her I’d rather sort things out directly with EE, and she just hung up on me. Definitely not well done as a scam!

Someone rang saying they were from Vodafone about our business contract. I actually had a proper call from Vodafone the week earlier and I asked them to speak to my boss, which they did. So when this new caller said they couldn’t find anyone else linked to our contract, I told them to call my boss again. They then just hung up. Definitely seemed dodgy and like a scam to me.
