Got a call from this firm claiming it was something to do with EE, which is my provider. I was actually expecting an upgrade so asked them to ring me later. They went on and on, rattling off loads of terms and conditions really fast and threw out some crazy prices, so I reluctantly agreed. After reading the reviews on here, I’m trying to back out now. They were really aggressive and kept passing me between different people, saying it’d just be a quick moment but it dragged on forever! Feeling so pressured, I’m now contacting my bank to sort things out.

They’re breaking the law by faking their caller ID. I’d suggest reporting them to both Action Fraud and trading standards. I’ve already blocked the number on my phone!

Some bloke rang saying I was eligible for a free upgrade on my O2 contract. I told him I don’t even use O2. Then he tries to find out who my provider is, but I just said no. After that, he weirdly says he’s going to look into why I’m supposedly still on their books. Total scam, dodgy as hell!

I received a call on my mobile from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, chatting about an early upgrade. He mentioned some enticing business packages. However, when I probed a bit further, he abruptly cut the line on me. Quite rude, really!
