Someone pretended to be from EE and asked for my name, then if I was the account owner with a number ending in 321 - which they obviously just got from calling the number! I got a call from this company saying it was about my EE mobile plan. They made it sound like they were actually EE. When I straight up asked if they were EE, the woman said they work with both EE and Vodafone. So I asked why they say they’re calling about my EE account and offering better deals if it’s not true, cos it's quite misleading. Then I wanted to speak to a manager named James. He insisted they weren’t being misleading at all. I said I’d report them to Ofcom, but he told me all their scripts have Ofcom’s approval. Honestly, the whole sales pitch is super deceptive. I’d seriously recommend steering clear of them!

they actually used my name and asked if i was handling my account, then claimed i'd been selected for some new business account deal... at that moment i just told him to jog on and check his info properly. i never mentioned i'd closed my business and switched my business account to a pay monthly one when i retired. my number’s been on a personal account since 2012, so their records are seriously outdated. if he calls back, i've got a quick way to deal with these annoying calls.

Problem is, they obviously have no clue about my current contract since they’re not even from ee. Then they go on pushing O2 and loads of other networks, just like other scam calls. I got a call from this firm. The person on the line told me it was about my mobile contract needing renewal. When I told him I’d already renewed just a few months back, he kept pressing me for the exact date. I'm so fed up with this company ringing me nonstop. Every time they say it's about my mobile contract, and I've already told them loads of times that I'm on the TPS list. Plus, my network provider has made it clear they’re the only ones allowed to contact me. I've even asked this company to stop calling and to put me on their do-not-call list, but they just don't listen. Can't trust any firm that simply disregards the rules. If they phone again, I’m definitely reporting them to the police for harassment.
