My phone rang and when I picked up, it only stayed connected for about 2 seconds before hanging up. I guess it’s one of those autodialers doing the rounds.

I got a ring from this number earlier today - a chap named Alex was on the other end, claiming he was with Future Standards and inquiring about my business dealings related to my EE account. I firmly instructed him to refrain from calling me in the future. His cheeky response was, "I promise that, my dear!" I've since added him to my blocked list!

I received a rather peculiar call from a chap claiming he could provide me an early upgrade on my EE contract. When I expressed my interest in getting a phone for business usage, he seemed quite knowledgeable and promptly proposed a contract. However, the kicker was that he mentioned my business address, which absolutely baffled me, as I'd never shared it with anyone and it's never been linked to any contract of mine. It all seemed rather suspect, and when I probed him about where he sourced that information, he couldn’t provide a satisfactory explanation. Quite dodgy if you ask me!
