this number keeps ringing non stop at our place, sometimes shows up like a local uk number, other times it says international. the last time i answered, loads of noisy background chatter like a call centre. honestly, it’s annoying and nothing seems to be done to shut these places down. avoid it if you can.

Definitely a scam call. They say they're from BT Openreach but don’t stick to the UK rules about telling you who they are. Just end the call straight away and don’t give them any details.

some woman with an asian accent named jacqueline wilson (yeah, really) phoned me saying there was a problem at my local exchange and i had to log into my computer to sort out the channels. I told her i’ve got virgin cable. Luckily i was tied up that day, but she rang back this morning. then my mate, who works at bt openreach, had a look through the employee list yesterday and said there’s no one by that name there. i told jacqueline i suspected it was a scam, she denied it, but i just ended the call.

Somebody rang saying they were from BT Openreach but it was definitely a scam.

Got a call today from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from Openreach. I told him I hadn’t received any proof or message from them so I was going to hang up. Also mentioned I’m signed up with the telephone preference service, so no interest in their call.

I had a rather peculiar phone call from a chap claiming to be with BT. He insisted he was reaching out concerning an issue with my Wi-Fi. I told him, quite firmly, that there wasn’t any problem. To my astonishment, he then went on to say he was ringing to alert me that I might face one soon and that he could assist me! Quite the odd encounter, if you ask me!

Got a call from some Gupta bloke bright and early at 7:30 am. He said "good afternoon," which was a bit daft, and seemed like one of those usual Openreach scams. Total nonsense really.

Every morning from about 7am, I get these calls non-stop. I have call screening on, so I just ignore them. It’s ridiculous that nowadays, these scammers who target people still keep getting through. I asked my phone provider about it and they said I’d have to pay extra on my bill just to block these numbers! Honestly, this should be something they do free of charge. Feels like there’s no way out of this mess.

I’ve had these annoying calls from a man and woman, both sounding Asian, ringing me up about 7 times today! Definitely some scam rubbish, kept coming through from BT Openreach. Proper nuisance!

I got calls from a man and woman claiming to be from BT Openreach. They wanted me to open up my computer so they could fix something. When I said no, the bloke turned really rude and pushy. Plus, I’ve been getting silent calls that just cut off after a bit.

I’ve been getting calls from 02190453895 which seem like they’re pretending to be from BT Openreach. Looks like they’re actually overseas but use a dodgy UK number to trick you. They’re trying to talk you into giving them access to your PC. Seriously, don’t fall for it!

Had this call from some Asian scammer laughing like mad, saying "your internet router’s messed up." I just fed them the IP address for the local constabulary every time. Told them to sort that out instead!

Got a call from 021904538956, some guy claiming he was from BT Openreach. Said he needed to fix my internet connection and told me to check the lights on my router. Then he asked me to open a programme on my PC and type 19. I was suspicious and ended the call. When he rang back, I told him I wanted some kind of proof of who he was. He got quite cheeky and said he could prove it if I asked, then just hung up again. Pretty rude if you ask me.
