Thing is, I never had any work done then and never even got in touch with them. Told her she was making it up, and she said she was hurt by that. Got a call earlier claiming they were from Home Solutions. They said I’d contacted them back in 2017 regarding some job, which I don’t recall at all. This is the fifth time I've had a call in just two days from someone saying they're from a market research firm called My Benefits UK. They keep asking questions about my lifestyle and what I buy for the house. It's always the same guy on the phone but with a different name each time. Funny thing, he greeted me with "good afternoon" at 9:30 in the morning! The call isn't even from here, looks like it's coming through a London number. I've put them on the TPS list, but not sure if that'll make any difference...

Somebody rang saying they were from a security firm linked to Crime Prevention. They kept going on about how break-ins were going up around here and asked if I'd got any security setup. I told them I had, but wouldn't be sharing the details with them. After that, I just ended the call.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from "BT Internet support" or some similar name. They asked loads of questions about what gadgets I had, like if I owned a tablet, a computer or had internet service. Then they told me my internet was broken and needed expensive fixes. But when I said I don’t even have internet or a computer, they seemed lost for words and just ended the call. They try to call me both on my mobile and my landline, sometimes even as early as 8am. Pretty obvious it was a scam.

Nearly every day I get calls on my mobile from various numbers all over the UK, coming from different cities each time. Most of the time, they just hang up right away without leaving any voicemail. This has been going on for over four years now. I've blocked every number on my iPhone but somehow, new ones pop up constantly from other places around the country. I still have a record of all the calls on my phone since I block them as soon as they ring. Honestly, it's really started to get me down after all this time because they just won't quit.
