Got a call from a London area code but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t from the UK at all. The caller was quite abrupt, which was annoying. Luckily I ended the call before they could start trying the usual trick about me supposedly crashing a car and not remembering - had that one happen to me once already!

Some woman called me with an Asian accent, said she was from an insurance firm or something. Asked about a car accident I supposedly had. She actually knew my name, but the minute I said I don't even own a car, she just ended the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

This number rang my partner claiming to be AMS Limited and said it was about his recent car crash. When asked how many people were in the car, he joked 10 in a Mini Cooper. The caller then said the company planned to sell all his info, steal his savings, and that they hoped he suffered badly from COVID. Really nasty people, targeting those who might be vulnerable.

They claimed to be from AMS and said I owed £3,000 related to a car crash I supposedly had. I haven’t been involved in any accidents, but they kept pushing and every time I asked something, they gave these dodgy, vague answers. I told them to send me the paperwork by post with whatever info they needed and then ended the call. Total bunch of muppets.
