I got a call from an Indian guy saying he was from AMS insurance, asking about my car accident and he even used my name. I could tell straight away it was a scam, so I pretended I’d had an accident. Then they passed me to someone else who claimed I could make a second insurance claim. I ended the call right away.

He said I’d been in a crash and that I was the one not at fault. Claimed the other driver had filed a claim against me. I asked when and where it took place. When he told me, I said he was talking rubbish as I’ve never even been there. The guy was proper annoying and just hung up. These dodgy calls need to stop for good.

Got a call from someone claiming to be my insurance company. Coincidentally, I recently had a little accident, but I was pretty suspicious. They said it was the legal team and that I might be entitled to compensation, even though neither me nor my passenger got hurt. They even tried to get me to make a false claim. As soon as I said I’d already informed my insurer and no one was hurt, they hung up.
