Guess what, my lovely cousins are back again!

Got a call warning me my appliance warranty was about to expire, but it’s totally a scam. Stay clear, folks!

This number rang me up today, claiming to be from Currys about a PS5 I supposedly purchased last year. I asked them for my receipt number and details about my account to check, but they just ended the call. They'd called me before too, trying to push some "white goods" insurance on me. Honestly, be careful with these calls. If you haven't asked for a call, it's best to just ignore and not get involved.

This was a really scary scam, they were so threatening and rude. Proper nasty behaviour.

Total scam, don’t trust it for a second.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from someone who seemed to have a fair bit of personal information about me, including my surname and details about my PS5 warranty, which is set to run out shortly. They offered me a renewal for £42 a year or £3.60 each month, claiming that if anything happened to my console, I could simply take it to one of their stores for a replacement or repair at no extra cost. However, I felt quite dubious about their intentions, so I asked for some time to ponder over the offer. They kindly agreed to ring me back in a week. My partner, however, expressed concerns that it reeked of a scam, so I’ve since decided to ignore any further attempts to contact me. With all the information they had, I must admit it was quite convincing, but better to be safe than sorry!

I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know. If it was important, they’d leave a voicemail - but this one didn’t bother.

They rang me today but i didnt pick up, no voicemail left either, so im guessing its a dodgy call.

I received a rather dodgy phone call earlier, with the caller claiming to be from Currys. They somehow knew my surname and inquired about the fridge/freezer I had supposedly purchased. My immediate instinct was to suspect something was off, especially since the fridge I bought was returned and refunded over a year ago. It seems like someone from Currys might be leaking our personal details to these scam callers. Just a heads up to everyone - stay vigilant!

I received a phone call from a number claiming to be Curry’s, seeking a person named Vicky about some sort of appliance delivery. They seemed rather keen to prolong the conversation but ultimately ended the call abruptly. Quite odd, really.

I got a call earlier from what seemed like Carphone Warehouse. I ended up upgrading my phone during the call because the agent had info that I could only imagine they’d get from Carphone Warehouse. Honestly, I got a bit suspicious and looked up the number, which brought me here! After that, I rang Carphone Warehouse directly using the number on their official website, and they told me the call was genuine. Vodafone’s just emailed me to say my new phone will arrive tomorrow. The person I spoke to was really friendly and knew loads about the products.
