This number has rung me four times lately but I didn’t pick up. I waited for an answerphone message, but as soon as it kicked in, the caller just hung up. Out of 51 calls over the last seven weeks, 30 have been like this. We never take the calls but they keep ringing anyway. With the whole Covid test and trace thing going on, this could cause extra hassle since any call from this number would be unrecognised. Also, I’m not sure if they'd leave a message due to data protection rules and how they’re interpreted.

Complete rip-off. I got a call with a pre-recorded message from a bloke speaking with a proper British accent, claiming to be John from some sort of home repair insurance. When I asked him to say his name again, obviously there was no option to do that. Then after a pause, the message started up again saying I was paying too much and they’d switch me to a cheaper tariff. I tried asking what tariff I was on and asked for the name again - no button to press for that either, and then the call just cut out!
