Got a call from some bloke pretending to be his boss, but it was obviously a scam. Different number, different name, but definitely the same dodgy guy. Seems like another one of those EE BT merger cons.

Got a call from someone speaking with an Indian accent, saying they were from 3 and that 3 had joined with EE - which is false. They wanted to send me a new SIM and promised a discount on my bill. Oddly, they even knew how much I was paying. They emailed me some documents that looked really official, like they were from 3. I refused to give out my bank info (which 3 already has anyway), then I didn’t answer any further calls. Definitely a scam!

Got a call from someone saying my mobile network had joined up with BT and I needed to get a new sim card. Felt a bit off, like a scam if you ask me.

Got a call from a bloke speaking with an Indian accent claiming I’m one of the few customers needing a sim upgrade due to the EE and BT merge. Problem is, I’m not even with EE! Pretty sure it was a scam trying to steal info. Just blocked the number straight away.
