Got a call that was flagged as scam. They didn’t leave any voicemail and when I tried calling back, no answer. Very suspicious.

They called me about changing my password, so I pretended to go along with it just to kill some time.

Got a cold call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from EE. He was telling me my SIM card was going to be blocked the next day and I needed a replacement sent out. Asked for my email, I gave him a made-up one. Then he wanted me to read out a six-digit code from my inbox, so I just made up a number too and told him he was a scammer. He chuckled and said he wasn’t, but then made some odd comment about liking my #### and asked what colour it was. Definitely confirmed my doubts - total scammer for sure.

They said they were from Three, but got all muddled when I told them I’m not with Three at all.

Some bloke calling himself from Three said my phone would be cut off in a couple of days. When I asked what’s going on, he just laughed it off and said I was overreacting, which made me realise straight away it was a dodgy scammer.
