Got a call from EE saying my SIM was about to expire, which sounded dodgy straight away. When I told the bloke he was a scammer, he just laughed and said something like, “I’ll find someone smarter to trick,” in a really thick Indian accent. No doubt it was a scam. If you’re not sure, just hang up and ring 150 instead.

I got a call from a woman with quite bad English, she said she was sending me a new EE sim that should turn up tomorrow. She asked for my email and I gave it to her as [email protected]. Then she just ended the call - bit disappointing really.

Got a call claiming to be from Three wanting to offer a 35% discount. They asked me to confirm my email, home address, and how long I've lived there before moving on to ask for bank info to set up a direct debit. I said no way to giving bank details over the phone, which seemed to annoy the person on the other end. She said the call was being recorded, but I made it clear I wasn’t comfortable sharing any banking info and wasn’t continuing with the call. Eventually, she just hung up. Watch out for unfamiliar 020 numbers - I’ve blocked this one now.
