Phone number ☎️ 02081447512 👆 is reported as a persistent and aggressive scam operation targeting UK businesses, falsely claiming affiliation with the National Grid, UK Energy Board, or government departments. Callers, often with South Asian accents, allege customers are overcharged on energy bills and seek personal, account, and bank details, sometimes resorting to rudeness and threats if confronted. They use multiple UK-based numbers, including local London codes, and frequently call multiple times daily, ignoring requests to stop. Official energy suppliers and regulators advise these calls are fraudulent, as genuine organisations do not make unsolicited calls offering refunds or meter services. Recipients are urged not to share information, report harassment to authorities, and block these numbers to avoid ongoing nuisance and potential fraud risks.

Just like many folks here, got a call from someone Indian claiming he wants to chat with the owner (we run a tiny B&B). Said he was from UK Energy, Chamber of Commerce, or even the UK Government, telling us we've been charged too much for electricity. They ring us a couple times a day. Usually, I just put the phone down and get on with stuff, or tell them I'm gonna report them to the police.

Got a call and when I said the owner wasn’t around, the guy just went on with "do you want me to f### you. I have a 12 inch cock". Honestly, what a disgrace to talk to someone like that. So rude and totally gross.

Proper rude on the phone, just keeps yelling his spiel without listening to what I say. Classic scam behaviour, as always.

Got calls from this National Grid Services lot and a company named UK Energy Services or something. Proper thick Indian accents shouting all over the phone about me bein’ overcharged. Told her to chill and stop shouting, but she kept going on about how they’ve checked my wattage and gonna sort it legally for me (a legit legal firm from National Grid or UK Energy Services maybe?). Of course, they wanted all my details - name, phone number, even a pic of my energy meter. They wouldn’t quit calling every single day, even my dad had to shout at them to leave us alone.

A bloke phoned me saying he was making a complaint about our electricity bill. He claimed he had to put me through to his manager. The woman on the line said she was from the Checks and Balances dept of the National Grid, said we were being overcharged and wanted me to have my bill ready so she could go over it. I told her to ring back later. She gave me a direct number: 020 8133 0598. I rang our actual electricity provider straight away, who confirmed it’s a scam and that they’ll probably try to get personal info to sell on. Definitely not answering any more calls from these lot.

Got a call from an Asian woman who was really pushy, kept calling me ma'am and talking over me when I tried to speak. She wanted info from my bill. I asked her for a direct line and she gave me 2081330598. I quickly searched it up and saw loads of similar comments. When I told her what I found, she just dropped the call!!

Got a call from 02081337913, but honestly, I could barely understand what the bloke was saying. He kept going on about how our electricity bill was too high. I told him not to ring again and hung up. Still, he kept phoning about five or six more times even though I said no. In the end, I just had to sit there and let the phone keep ringing till he gave up. There’s gotta be some way to put a stop to this kinda pestering.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the National Grid, warning about a power cut - turned out to be an Indian guy trying to scam me. I told him straight that the National Grid never calls regular customers and they definitely don’t have call centres in India. I pointed out he isn’t really with the National Grid and that makes him a crook. I asked if he’s proud telling his family he’s a criminal, hoping his kids’ll follow the same path. He just hung up. No point being nice to these muppets.

They've been ringing me for ages claiming to be from National Grid's Service Department, saying they can sort me out with refunds for overcharging by my energy supplier, but they won't say who they actually are. I've tried being polite, I've tried being firm, even a bit rude and aggressive, but they just won't stop. I even got a friend to tell them in Hindi that I'm not interested. Honestly, they must be some really desperate folks.

Today my work phone rang from 0208 1237514, caller said his name was Ibrahim. Sounded a bit rude. The number looks like others here that seem dodgy, so I reckon it’s a scam. They gave me that number to call them back to "verify" their identity - but that seems pointless to me. If it was truly the national grid, I’d expect a letter like last time when they swapped the meter.

SCAM - Keep getting calls from a woman named Anna and a guy called Kevin, they say they're from the National Grid working for my energy provider. Total scam! My meter and bills are all fine. They try to push their service and say you’ve been overcharged and can get a refund - absolute nonsense. They claim to be from the National Grid, which actually supplies your energy company. Wow, got the exact same number and name Bilal! Today, this guy called my boss like 10 times during his training. My boss actually contacted the cops about that Indian scammer. But I don’t get how he called first from a mobile. After 3 minutes of my boss talking, I grabbed the phone and told the scammer to stop calling, said I knew he was an Indian scammer and then hung up. Then just 2 minutes later, the calls came again but from a 020 London number.

This time the caller was "Unavailable" but it sounds like the same con from "The Energy Board". He wouldn’t say where he got my details from, and when I pushed for an answer he warned me my electricity would get cut off. He asked when I’d had my gas boiler installed, claiming I could get a free replacement from "The Government". He clearly didn’t know it’s only recently been fitted. I’ve already removed my number from the TPS and Council lists, so someone must still be sharing or leaking it.

02085646084 - A bloke with an Indian accent said he was ringing from the National Grid, something about 'Line Lost Sector' or whatever, but I didn't catch everything he said. When I asked if it was a call centre, he said no, it was the National Grid Complaints Department. He claimed we were being charged too much for our electricity and only knew our postcode. He wanted to connect me to his manager but I said no and hung up. The same number kept calling after that, which I ignored - probably the same person.

Second ring the next day, he was after the owner again - my mate just told me to hang up, so I did! Third time, I saw the number and just put the phone down straight away. Fourth call, same thing again. On the fifth one, I picked up and said I’d checked with my supplier and reckoned it was a scam because National Grid don’t handle complaints. Had a few calls from a man named Bilah Jedd, who said he was from the National Grid and wanted to speak with the company owner. He claimed our energy supplier had complained about their service, so it was passed on to National Grid to look into it. Then he asked who our actual supplier was (which made no sense if they’d already got a complaint from them). After that, he wanted our account and payment info. I've received numerous calls from this number throughout the week. They've shown a rather unpleasant attitude towards my team in the past, yet they’ve been noticeably more composed when speaking with me. Eventually, I made it clear that I wouldn’t entertain any further calls unless they could provide me with a proper web address to look up.

Got a call from what sounded like an Asian call centre saying they were from the Energy Board, working for the National Grid offering a free meter registration service for the UK. They also mentioned doing work for companies called Business Energy Solutions and Commercial Power Ltd. Don’t give them any info! There’s no Energy Board, National Grid don’t cold call, and no such free meter registration exists. The numbers they call from are IP based, so they could be located anywhere but use UK numbers to trick people. Best to steer clear.

I recently received a call from a centre that seemed to have an Indian accent, purporting to represent something called the Energy Board. They insisted they were assisting the National Grid with a complimentary meter registration service for the UK. They also mentioned affiliation with a couple of companies claiming to be Business Energy Solutions and Commercial Power Ltd. I advise everyone to steer clear of these calls! The Energy Board isn’t a real entity, the National Grid doesn’t make unsolicited calls, and trust me, there’s no such thing as a meter registration service. The phone numbers these callers utilise are based on internet protocols, indicating they could easily be located anywhere in the world while deceptively using local UK numbers to catch businesses off guard. Exercise caution and don’t divulge any personal information!

Someone called saying they were from a government agency and claimed they could reduce my electricity bills by half because the energy company was overcharging me for kilowatt hours I wasn’t using. STEER CLEAR I’m convinced this is nothing more than a dodgy spam call. Best not to take their claims at face value. When I pressed them for their website, they bombarded me with a slew of different URLs, each one more nonsensical than the last after I pointed out their fakeness. The chap claimed to represent a central office for 45 energy firms in the UK, insisting we were being fleeced, yet he swore he wasn’t trying to sell me anything - just fishing for information. I’ve got to say, I’m highly sceptical of that narrative. I made it clear that, legally speaking, he was required to erase our company details from their records and to cease calling us. He just kept rambling, throwing phrases like “listen to me, mate...” my way. In the end, I simply set the phone down while he continued his monologue until he eventually gave up and hung up. I have a nagging feeling they're operating out of Pakistan while masquerading with a UK number.

I received a rather unpleasant call from a ghastly individual who was shockingly discourteous. Greetings. I've received multiple calls from this number at my place of business. After hanging up on them five times, they persisted and rang me again for a sixth go, at which point I chose to answer. The individual on the line, who was Asian, quickly turned aggressive and started hurling abuse at me for disconnecting previously. When I expressed my lack of interest in their offerings, his hostility escalated even further, complete with threats of a visit to my business. This feels like harassment to me. I'm inundated with around ten calls a day, and it's become utterly intolerable. To make matters worse, the caller claimed his brother is a solicitor who would "deal with me." This type of behaviour is threatening and entirely unacceptable. These individuals need to be reported to Ofgem, who must take action on this matter.

Time and again, I've requested to speak to a manager or someone in charge to lodge a formal complaint, and whenever I mention taking my concerns to Offgem, they promptly hang up only to ring me back again. It’s utterly outrageous how frequently they bombard me, sometimes racking up between five to ten calls a day! I've faced not only disrespectful language but also the relentless annoyance of dealing with these incessant interruptions.

I had a rather peculiar experience with a number that goes by 020 8144 7512. An individual on the other end claimed to represent E-on and promised a tantalising 35% reduction on my gas and electric bills. Quite amusingly, I had just renewed my contract with E-on a mere day prior. When I mentioned this to him, he abruptly cut the call. Delving deeper, I discovered these characters frequently change their identities, adopting names like local energy services, national grid, and countless others. It's rather infuriating, to be honest. They seem to be relentless, ringing me every single day of the week!

Hello there! I've just had the same experience; the phone rang three times within just five minutes. We're also with Eon, so it's a bit concerning. It would be fantastic if someone could flag this for them!

I recently had a phone call from the UK Energy Board office, and they provided me with this number too. I must say, the assistance I've received from them has been incredibly satisfying. As the new proprietor of my business, I was facing an outstanding balance linked to the previous owner's account. They managed to resolve everything for me without asking for any payment, which I found quite impressive. I've even sent more business their way because they are genuinely helpful individuals, not con artists. Believe me, they’re not in it for the money. I’ve built a solid trust with them, and they’ve consistently supported me whenever I’ve reached out using this same number. I’ve also recommended them to my friends and family without hesitation!

Right from the start, I had a funny feeling about the whole thing - it reeked of a con job. What really made me uneasy was how much they seemed to know about my affairs, particularly the details of my dealings with Eon, the energy supplier. Just the other day, I received a call from someone purporting to be Eon, who insisted I send over a copy of my business sale agreement. I naively did as they asked, only to find out from Eon today that the number I faxed it to wasn't even theirs! It makes me suspect that these scammers are behind it all. To top it off, they rang me no less than eight times today, which honestly feels like harassment. They keep babbling on about some dubious government connection. I'm definitely going to alert the authorities; it all sounds incredibly fishy.

I must say, I find it hard to trust any of their claims. It seems like this company is all about spinning tales rather than being truthful about their identity. I’d call it nothing short of deceitful; it really encapsulates their whole business ethos.

I've been receiving calls from some individuals who say they're connected to the UK electricity board and the national grid. They seem to be pushing services for Opus or E-on, and frankly, it feels rather dodgy. It's clear they don't have good intentions. I get those nuisance calls every single day! I've kept a log of all these calls for the last three months, and I'm definitely planning to report this to the watchdog authorities.

Hello everyone! I'm absolutely delighted with this firm! I can't express how thrilled I am with the exceptional assistance I received from Mr Chris. I was in a right state of panic after I received a disconnection notice from Opus Energy. Out of the blue, I got a call from a chap named Mr Eric Parker who sorted everything out for me. Honestly, I wish all businesses employed individuals like him who are genuinely supportive. Prior to that, I had a rather unpleasant experience with a certain Mr Ali Hogan, alias Mr Faisal Bajwa, who took my information to set up a three-year contract with Opus Energy solely to pocket his commission. What a complete nuisance! I'm still on the lookout for that rogue.

I got a call from the UK Energy Board office, and they provided me with this number. Honestly, I'm quite impressed with the assistance I received. Being a new business owner, I found myself stuck with an outstanding balance that was under the previous owner's name. Fortunately, they managed to resolve everything for me without charging a penny. I've since passed on more business their way because they’ve proven to be genuinely helpful, not a bunch of fraudsters. I wholeheartedly vouch for them; they aren’t in it just to make money. Whenever I reach out to them on the same number, they’ve always been there to lend a hand. I highly recommend them to my friends and family as well!

Blimey, that Ali Raza chap is nothing but a fraud, isn't he? And you must be one of his little minions trying to cover for his shady dealings.

I seem to be inundated with calls from the number listed above, both on my business landline and mobile. The callers are attempting to pass themselves off as representatives of the UK Energy Board-utter nonsense! I've been around the block enough times to know when I'm being taken for a ride. When I challenged them and asked for written communication, they had the audacity to contact me on Viber, claiming to be from a government agency. They casually asked for just three minutes of my time, only to dive straight into inquiries about my bank account details! As if they think I'm as naïve as they are. I quickly set them straight and have reported the incident to Action Fraud. Honestly, it's infuriating-what a bunch of charlatans!

Hello folks! I just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for this fantastic company. I can't quite convey how relieved I am thanks to Mr. Chris, who has provided me with exceptional assistance. When I received a letter from Opus Energy about my meter being disconnected, I was in quite a state of panic. However, out of the blue, a gentleman named Mr. Eric Parker reached out and managed to address all my concerns. It would be wonderful if all businesses had individuals like him, genuinely willing to lend a hand. Prior to that, I dealt with a bloke named Mr. Ali Hogan, also known as Mr. Faisal Bajwa, who only seemed interested in filling his pockets by signing me up for a three-year contract with Opus Energy. What a character! I'm still on the lookout for that chap.

Good day, everyone! If you’re curious about this number, I’m here to share my experiences with it. From what I’ve gleaned, this is not a scam - quite the opposite! The people behind this number have been incredibly supportive, addressing the issues I encountered with my business's gas and electricity. The only person I’ve interacted with from this company is Mr Ali Raza, and I must say, he has been nothing short of excellent. I’ve had two energy contracts arranged through him, and he delivered everything he promised. Previously, I was with Opus Energy, but Mr Raza offered me a much more competitive rate. Based on my usual consumption, I anticipate a monthly saving of over £100 moving forward! I will definitely recommend Mr Raza’s services to any friends or family who seek assistance with reducing their gas and electric bills legitimately. Cheers, Abdul Rehman Khan

THIS NUMBER IS associated with the UK Energy Board. I’m not entirely sure who they are or how they operate, but they've been a real lifesaver for me and my venture. They've managed to legally extricate me from my agreement with Opus Energy, which has been nothing short of a nightmare for me. A huge thank you to the UK Energy Board for their assistance - they've genuinely helped me and saved me a considerable amount of cash. Especially grateful to Mr Hogan; I’ll definitely be in touch with him again for future business opportunities. Cheers for all the kindness! Best, Steve Horsman

I've received a call from this number as well. When I requested them to email me the details, they sent it from the same email mentioned earlier, but there was no company name attached. They kept promising that they could slash my gas bill by 40%, but whenever I inquired about which company they represented, they always dodged the question. I wouldn't recommend trusting these individuals-definitely steer clear of sharing any of your banking information with them!

I've been receiving calls from them around ten times now, insisting they're offering energy savings and wanting to know my personal information. They even provided me with an email [email protected]. Frankly, I've decided to ignore any further communication from them!

I keep receiving calls at my workplace from this firm, asking for me by name and claiming they're addressing an issue related to energy. I've attempted to get in touch with them, yet they refuse to clarify who they are or the nature of their business. It’s quite frustrating, to say the least!
