2 yearsI answered the phone just the once, and the chap on the other end was shockingly rude when I refused to comply with his demands. He actually said, "There's no way out of this." I told him to "get lost" before hanging up. To my disbelief, he tried ringing me back three times in a row, and on the final call, he left a rather menacing voicemail.2 yearsAs soon as he brought up Windows, I swiftly ended the call. To my surprise, he got back to me three times in rapid succession, but I ended each call before he could get a word in. On the fourth attempt, I decided to stick around, and he launched into a tirade, asking who I was. Then, shockingly, he started hurling insults at me and made some rather alarming threats, saying I should watch out for the next 24 hours! It almost seemed as though he didn’t have a good connection on his end.2 yearsConstant nuisance. Time to cut them off.2 yearsI received a rather dubious call from a chap with an accent reminiscent of India, claiming to represent Microsoft. He insisted that I must access my computer, droning on about some supposed illegal activity on my Windows system. Eventually, I lost my patience and suggested he report it to the police instead. However, he kept insisting that if I didn't comply, I would be regarded as guilty and risk losing my computer altogether. If he was genuinely from Microsoft, his manner was shockingly unprofessional, and he wouldn't let me speak. After I firmly refused to entertain his demands, he abruptly disconnected the call.
