Got a voicemail from an unknown number, a woman spoke but didn’t say who she was or what company she was from. Thought I’d ring back to see if it’s legit, but if it really matters they’ll probably ring me again. I’m not holding my breath though.

Got a call from a woman with an asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft, saying she needed to talk about my laptop. I blew my whistle and then ended the call. Someone called claiming to be from Windows and asked if I was the person using the computer. I told them to buzz off, but they kept ringing every half minute or so, even though I had the answerphone on. I finally just kept the line busy and that made it stop. Proper annoying.

They called but didn’t pick up, and there was no message left on the answering machine, which makes me suspect it’s a scam. I've had calls from this number previously, and they’ve always been silent-no voice message left at all.

I received a call from a man with an Indian accent who was incredibly rude and used some rather offensive language. He accused me of being an utter fool and repeatedly rang back, demanding to know why I had the audacity to hang up. It was absolutely shocking behaviour!

Got a call claiming to be from Microsoft saying my computer had been hacked. Didn’t really believe it since I thought Microsoft wouldn’t call like that, so I just ended the call. She called back but I didn’t pick up and no message was left on my voicemail. When I looked up the number, it was the same one that’s called me a few times before but never left a message.

I just got a call, hung up on them, and then they rang me back being really pushy. I told the woman to leave me alone. It's mad they actually ring back after you end the call.

This number kept ringing our home phone and asked to talk to me through my wife. She had a bad feeling it was a scam and asked who they were and what they wanted. The man, who sounded Indian, said he was from Microsoft and urgently needed to speak to me. When she said no, he kept calling back for about ten minutes straight, even left one voicemail warning that our devices were in danger and we’d face serious problems if we didn’t comply. It started to sound quite threatening. After a while, he gave up. We have reported it to the police.

This bloke kept ringing me about computer windows, I told him I wasn't interested but he just kept calling, like 10 times or more. He wouldn't take no for an answer and even threatened to send a team over. So frustrating! I'm 72 and disabled, I really don't need this hassle.

Got a call from an Indian guy who was really pushy and claimed he had my PC’s licence number as proof he was with Windows support. He showed me some error alerts on my computer, but as soon as he asked for remote access, I said no and hung up. He kept calling back over and over, threatening to block my computer.

Some bloke phoned me pretending to be from Microsoft. When I hung up, he kept ringing back over and over until I picked up again. He asked why I cut him off, and I told him he was a scammer. After that, he started yelling all sorts of insults at me. He just keeps calling non-stop until you answer, probably just to get you to stop the ringing. Honestly, he should be nailed for this. The things he said were awful.

Some bloke kept ringing my mum, pestering her about having a PC under her husband's name - which she doesn’t. I took the phone off her, kept picking up and hanging up after a few seconds until he finally gave up (I'm pretty stubborn and would've kept at it all day). He acted like he had every right to bother my mum and like we were the ones in the wrong. I contacted Vodafone, like someone suggested, and they said for nuisance calls you have to report it online - which I’m about to do. I really hope they put a stop to him, he’s seriously upsetting someone.

This number kept calling, claiming there was an issue with our computer. The man sounded Asian. I explained we don’t even own one, but he kept insisting we did. My mother-in-law picked up twice before I snatched the phone away. He then rang us around 17 more times in just five minutes until I finally blocked him. I picked up a couple more times, telling him I knew it was a scam, and he dared me to prove it. Really persistent bloke. Just a warning to everyone - block this number and stay safe!

The number kept ringing about 4 or 5 times before I finally picked up. The caller asked to speak with someone else in the house. I questioned what it was about and he just insisted I pass the phone over, saying it wasn’t my house. We went round in circles and I ended up hanging up. Then he called again, the other person answered and said they weren’t interested before putting the phone down. The caller rang once more, got the same reply and eventually just gave up and hung up.

I just had a rather unsettling phone call from a chap with an Indian accent claiming to be from Windows. He insisted that he was reaching out to inform me about some potential hackers on my computer. Strangely enough, he urged me to check my device for warnings they supposedly sent me about this security issue. I promptly cut the call, but he rang back mere moments later, this time leaving a voicemail attempting to persuade me of the so-called urgency of his warning. Once more, I hung up, pretending that I wasn't near my computer. He phoned yet again, this time leaving a rather aggressive message, suggesting that my refusal to engage had somehow disrespected him. I attempted to call the number back, but he had previously mentioned that it was unreachable as he had contacted me through a Windows server (whatever that means!). Dodgy computer con: relentless and rather bold. The caller had a distinct accent, likely from Asia. Call 1: "Is that Mr *******?" "What's this regarding?" "Your computer." I hung up abruptly.
