This number has been botherin my 87 year old dad nonstop recently. They claim they’re tryin to help him get back over £4000 from the tax office. My dad actually gave them £300 in cash - all the money he had at home - which he sent off to some place at 11 Elmsleigh Avenue, Leicester. Then they phoned again, askin for his bank info. The guy they say they are is named Peter Brown! Honestly, stay well clear and don’t respond. They sound convincing, but they really tricked my poor old dad!

Hadn’t heard from them before - no voicemail either. Found this site and decided to block the number now. Cheers for the help!

Got a call from someone saying they were from the "Claims Advisory Bureau", some sort of government dept offering refunds for secret bank fees. The bloke had a strong Indian accent but funny thing is, he couldn’t understand Hindi at all! Turns out he was calling from Manchester, even though the number showed up as a London one! Proper confusing.

Got a call saying the bank had some money due to me, total scam. I just let the guy keep rambling, must be his phone bill going up!

This guy rang up claiming some banks owed me cash, but he couldn’t say which bank or the amount I was supposedly owed. I straight away told him it sounded like a scam, and he just hung up.

They ended the call before I could say anything, didn’t bother dropping a message.

What an absolute farce! I had a chap named Kevin ring me up, claiming to be from BT, and he went on about some ‘strange goings-on’ with our internet connection through the night. The irony? We don’t even have BT as our provider! It's puzzling what kind of ruse this is, but I urge everyone to steer clear of it. If you’re feeling anxious about any issues, it’s far wiser to ring BT directly rather than falling into their trap. Stay sharp and don’t let them pull the wool over your eyes!

Absolute shambles, this! Just don’t waste your breath on them! They’re not affiliated with BT and your internet hasn’t been compromised in the slightest! If you're feeling uneasy and suspect an issue, just reach out to BT yourself to get the lowdown. Seriously folks, steer clear of this nonsense - I couldn't be bothered to entertain it for long myself!

I received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be Gavin Porter from BT. He insisted that my internet was compromised and misused during the wee hours, specifically from half eleven at night to half four in the morning. He said he could sort it out if I sat down at my computer. I promptly declined!
