He said the cheaper rate was because they're not taking direct debits or payments in chunks anymore, and asked if I wanted to pay the full amount by debit or credit card instead. Martin didn’t take that well, got a bit grumpy and asked who said it was a scam? I told him, there’s no way I have a contract so how can it be up for renewal? Then he got all stroppy, said he’d cancel it anyway. I told him he can’t cancel what doesn’t exist. Total nonsense if you ask me.
