Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Inland Revenue, saying I had to ring them back or the Police would come to my house. I looked up the number online and it’s obvious it's a SCAM. Don’t answer or call back 02081238719, just ignore it.

I've just had a peek at my Clearscore account, and it's quite astonishing to find a multitude of Nationwide accounts supposedly linked to me, despite the fact that I've never set one up! I'm in a bit of a pickle, to be honest. Can someone assist in halting any further Nationwide accounts being registered under my name? I'm already grappling with the chaos caused by fraudsters, and I really can’t face another wave of hassle they might be attempting to throw my way. Thank you ever so much!

This lot scammed me, took cash from my account, sent me the wrong phone on my O2 contract, told me to pick it up, returned it, and still never got the new one. Avoid at all costs! Now I’m having to ring up firms to cancel my card and report fraud. Seriously, block these muppets.

Yeah, you did well blocking them. They’re just scammers trying to grab your info to take out loans, phone deals and stuff like that. I’m still dealing with the nightmare of fixing my credit file coz these crooks used my details to get loans, order an iPhone, even applied for credit cards and did loads of checks. Best to stay clear, because sorting out the mess with the credit reference agencies is a real pain. They have to check you’re not the one who made all those applications, and it takes ages for the bad marks to vanish from your record.

I’m not sure who was ringing but I’d just gotten back home and saw 8 missed calls from this number. After checking, I found out it was linked to a scam or fraud, so I quickly blocked the number and stopped any messages from coming through.

SCAM ALERT!!! Watch out everyone, these folks somehow got my info and placed an order for a phone I’ve never even seen. O2 sent me a letter saying I’d bought an APPLE IPHONE X 64GB. On top of that, there’s been credit card applications showing up on my credit report. Please don’t get caught in this scam. I’ve been struggling a lot, reaching out to every company where my info has been used to report this identity theft mess on my credit file. It’s really tough keeping up with it all, but I reckon it’s better than just ignoring it.

Got a call from a British Asian lady claiming to be from this made-up place called FUNHOUSE COMPANY, could hear a little kid crying in the background. When I told her to take my number off their list and never ring me again, she just cut me off straight away. Whenever they start with “HELLO, HOW ARE YOU,” you can tell it’s dodgy right away.

Phonehousecompany rang me up with a good offer, so I looked at their website and found the same deals. I called back to sort a phone out, but they ordered one from O2 when I specifically asked for Vodafone. Plus, they sent me a 7+ instead of the X I wanted. They told me to send the phone back, but the X never arrived. Now they ignore my calls or just hang up, and I’ve got a 7+ contract in my name with bills coming from O2 for all sorts of amounts. I’m left stuck dealing with a dodgy contract - total SCAM.
