This bloke rang me at about 5:47 tonight and kept going on. When I snapped, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?", he just hung up right away before things got nasty. I honestly hope he doesn’t bother calling me again because if he does, I won’t be so friendly next time! These sort of calls really grind my gears!!

Got a call yesterday from a guy with an Asian accent who said his name was Ray and claimed he was calling on behalf of Microsoft. I called him out for being a con artist, but he wouldn’t admit it. The nastier I got with my language, the more he kept going, so in the end I blasted an air horn into the receiver. Bet that gave him a shock!

After a pause, a strange accent came on the line asking for somebody I don’t know. This isn’t the first time I’ve got a call like this - same voice, asking for the same name but using different phone numbers each time. Feels like some kind of scam. This particular one called asking for me by name, so I told them I’d get the person but they were in another room. When I asked who they were, they said something about the washing machine at my place. I just left the phone down, and after a few unanswered “hellos,” they hung up. Got a call from this number on 23/11/19 around 1.30pm, they claimed my Sky box warranty had expired. I decided to mess with the guy and kept him chatting for about 15 minutes for a bit of a laugh. Eventually, he started pushing a £150 upgrade for my warranty to cover the TV as well. I then told him I don’t even own a Sky box haha, needless to say, he wasn’t thrilled at all!

Total scam alert. This person called me, trying to sell some kind of deal with Sky - pay for two years of servicing and get an extra year free or something.
