Got a call from 02081039265 but they didn't say anything or leave a message, so I just blocked the number.

They keep bothering me non stop, feels like harassment.

So, I blasted the phone with this insanely loud, high-pitched noise - probably hit around 140 decibels or something. I wouldn’t be surprised if the person at the other end is now rushing to A&E with a busted eardrum. What was that again?

I just got a ring from 02081039265 claiming I needed to renew my Sky Protect. I ended the call straight away. When I called Sky themselves, they told me they’d never call about that and only send letters through the post. Honestly, these scammers ought to be shut down.

Number didn’t show up on BT Call Guardian, so my guess is it was some sort of scam or sales call. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

I’ve had two calls this week from Sky Protection, but they’re still calling me by my old married name! I got remarried four years ago and haven’t had Sky in over five years. When I told the guy I already asked them last week to remove my information, he asked if I wanted him to update my details. Honestly, I said no because I doubt they’ll do anything about it anyway. If they bother me again, I’m gonna have to get a bit firmer about it!

I told her no, that wasn’t the situation, and then she asked if I’d had any sort of accident, like a fall or a trip or something along those lines. I said no again, and then she said sorry and that she’d remove my details from their database. She cut the call before I got a chance to say anything else.

They attempted to claim that the guarantee on my fridge freezer had expired. The amusing thing is, I don't even possess one!

Today, on the 25th of November, around 2:43 in the afternoon, a woman rang me asking about some kind of kitchen appliance insurance. She surprisingly knew my name and mentioned a payment of £100. I didn’t share any info with her and ended the call quickly.

I’m fed up with these people ringing me up but not even getting my name right. I’ve made it clear where they can shove it, yet they just won’t stop phoning.

Got a call from 01745995474, and I’m pretty sure they're trying to charge me £39.99 for an Amazon Prime renewal, which is strange because just yesterday someone from the same number called claiming to be from Sky Security. And amusingly, last week it was about renewing my Zanussi insurance! Seems like this person’s juggling a lot. Told him he deserves a break this weekend!

Got a call from a woman with an accent about kitchen stuff, but she gave the old address we used to live at. My husband just told her to get in touch with the people who live there now. She then blocked the number. Strange!

0108303208 - Just got another call with that BT internet termination message, but this time it’s a bloke with a strong English accent and quite a deep voice. Thankfully, it’s been blocked now.

A young woman with a proper English accent asked, “Am I speaking with Mr X or Mrs X?” Instantly, I recognised it as a warranty sales call, since they’re the only ones with access to that marketing list where both our names appear. Curious, I inquired about the caller's identity, and she spun an elaborate tale claiming she couldn’t disclose that until I confirmed whether I was Mr X or Mrs X. She attempted to mask it as adhering to Privacy/GDPR regulations-a topic I’m quite versed in given my background in IT-so I didn’t budge. At this juncture, she revealed the company’s name, “Home Protection Services Ltd”, which only solidified my suspicions. I then fired back, curious about what she was attempting to sell me today-a washing machine, Sky box, or perhaps some other household warranty? She insisted it wasn’t any sort of warranty or even a household protection pitch. I couldn’t help but retort, “Then why on earth is your company called ‘Home Protection Services Ltd’?” This provoked her into a rather unpleasant tirade, chastising me for supposedly wasting her time and threatening to report me to the police for being an awful man who was making her business suffer with my time-wasting antics. Just as the call was about to end, I remarked, “Perhaps you should head back to school to brush up on your knowledge of Privacy and Harassment laws.” And with that, she slammed the receiver down. Got a call today from someone claiming to be with Sky TV. They kept insisting my equipment contract was about to expire and that I needed to renew it. When I asked what gear they said I had, it was totally off, so I told them I didn’t believe they were actually from Sky. They argued a bit, insisting they were legit, but I just ended the call.

I received a rather dodgy call from what claimed to be a so-called insurance company, attempting to get us to renew a washing machine policy that we've never possessed! It's utterly appalling that these unscrupulous individuals would prey on vulnerable people, particularly targeting my elderly dad. They purport to operate out of Manchester, yet the number they rang from is definitely a London one. - caller: Scam Insurance, operating under the name Premium Insurance.
