Totally awful experience! Don’t pick up if this number calls - it’s just some muppets pretending to be from Google or Gumtree. When you try to ask them who they actually are, they just cut you off and hang up. Proper annoying!

Got loads of calls from these so-called Google people claiming they can boost your search ranking if you pay up. Total scam, don’t believe them. Best to just ignore the calls altogether.

They were really pushy, keepin on about who I was and what I do. Felt like they were just trying to grab personal info for no good reason. Proper bullying, if you ask me.

A person pretending to be from Google phoned my client, trying to convince him to pay £135 a month to push his new website to the top - absolutely no way Google would do that!

I rang them up to ask if they were really Google, and they turned quite rude and hostile, refused to answer why I asked or even say who they actually were!

Funny thing is, when I searched their number online, it seems someone else had nearly the same run-in just eight minutes before!

These scammers are definitely not Google or AdWords. They’re just con artists looking to trick folks into paying for nothing!

Proper rude they were, really pushy as well. I told them to remove me from their calling list, and all I kept getting was "why are you not interested?" over and over. I don’t owe them any explanation, it’s my decision after all. Even the manager was just as bad. Honestly, stop pestering folks with your ads and all that talk about getting on Google’s first page.
