What threw me off was that my company’s Manchester-based, but the number seemed to be from London. While I was talking to them, I quickly looked up the phone number online and then asked them to confirm the company name behind the offer. They wanted £200 to promote my business and boost Facebook likes. To be honest, I’m not really convinced they’re a proper, trustworthy company.
