They claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse but I reckon they're just trying to get your bank info. They were pretty rude too. Definitely feels like a scam to me. The police don’t really have the resources to deal with these kinds of calls properly, which is a shame. Hopefully they don’t end up scamming someone who’s more vulnerable. Total muppets.

I answered but got nothing back, seems like a scam judging by what others said. I went ahead and blocked the number.

Had a call from a guy claiming he was with Carphone Warehouse, but his accent was really thick, maybe Nigerian? Definitely felt like a scam to me. I just hung up straight away.

Within just an hour, I got called 11 times and not a single voice message was left behind.

Got a call at work from a guy claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, asking specifically for a male manager. I told him it was a bit cheeky to assume only men manage, as women do just as well. Then he just admitted he was a scammer when I asked straight up! I didn’t bother hanging on after that.
