Received a call today at 16:40, but I wasn't able to pick it up. Just got discharged from hospital after surgery and could really do without these persistent calls bothering me. It would be brilliant if there was a way to put an end to this sort of harassment.

Like loads of others mentioned, I didn't even answer the call ’cause it just seemed dodgy to me. Honestly, be careful with this number. Never share any personal info when someone rings you up from unknown numbers.

First they rang me on 07520640504 and when I didn’t pick up, they tried this number instead. Don’t pick up, it’s a scam!!!

Got two calls back to back from a number I didn't recognise. Both times I picked up but just left the phone alone. The first was a lady with an accent that wasn’t local, she kept trying to get me to say something, even called me by my first name but butchered the pronunciation. After about a minute and seventeen seconds of me staying quiet, she finally realised I wasn’t biting and ended the call. Then, just seconds later, the same number rang again. I stayed silent once more, and this time they gave up in 26 seconds and hung up.

I received a call from a lady using this number - her accent seemed to be possibly Chinese. She addressed me by name, but rather than engage in a chat, I decided to switch to German to put an end to the conversation and deter her from calling again. Eventually, she gave up and hung up.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Vodafone, but they used an email address I haven’t touched in yonks. Naturally, I mentioned this before cutting the call short. Would you believe it? The same bloke rang me back just two minutes later to try and convince me otherwise! He eventually claimed to represent YELLOW PHONES - but honestly, I’m sceptical about the legitimacy of such a company. The chap either sounded like he was battling a nasty cold or was attempting a rather poor disguise. I have to say, this is definitely a first for me; I’ve never had a caller ring back just to argue after I’ve ended the conversation!

I’m really getting annoyed with all these calls on both my home phone and mobile. I picked up once on the landline, and the person just started talking nonsense, so I ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Vodafone and wanted my bank details to send a new phone that’s coming out soon. They actually knew my full name and number! When I asked how, they said if you’ve ever read the terms on apps like Facebook, you’d see they’re allowed to share your info with third parties. Sounds dodgy to me.

The only individual I’m familiar with in London is my son, and he typically reaches out either on his mobile or through Messenger. To be frank, I chose not to pick up the call.

Someone phoned me saying they were from switch offering cheaper broadband. I told them loads of times I wasn’t interested, said thanks and goodbye. Even after I ended the call, they rang back two more times. I've blocked the number now cos it’s just harassment.
