For more than a week, I got calls every day from someone claiming to be with National Grid. They said I had a refund from my energy provider and asked for my bank details to sort it out. When I said no, they started getting pretty pushy, insisting it didn’t matter whose bank account they used. I contacted both my energy company and National Grid, and neither of them knew anything about this refund.
