Picked up the phone and after a short pause someone just said hello, i responded and then they just cut the call?? Proper confusing stuff.

This telephone number is undoubtedly a scam. They claim to be from Carphone Warehouse and start asking about my current network provider. After that, they proceeded to offer me a Samsung phone at a seemingly attractive price, promising unlimited calls and a decent amount of data. Having been a loyal customer of Three for many years, I certainly sensed something was off. I foolishly divulged all my personal information, and it turns out these scammers can place orders under any network. In my case, I was supposedly getting an O2 iPhone 13 Pro. I received a phone as if I had made the purchase myself, only for them to call me again claiming it was a mix-up and that I needed to return it. Thankfully, I decided to check the return address they provided, which led me to a regular house rather than a proper warehouse. I reported the incident to the police right away. Stay vigilant, everyone, and do block these dodgy numbers!

Loads of folks mention 'Car Phone Warehouse' and I get calls from them almost every week.
