I got a call from a lady speaking with an Indian accent, claiming she was from some call preference service. She told me I needed to give her my credit card details or else I'd lose the protection against those annoying nuisance calls. She kept pushing but eventually hung up when I wouldn’t share any of my info.

Got three calls from the same place, first it was a woman with an Indian accent, then someone said they were her boss, then another person who called themselves the manager. Honestly, these people are becoming such a pain, relentless at bothering folks for no good reason. I’ve gotten three calls from them today alone. The second came round 1pm, then another one just before 3. An American-sounding bloke asked if he was speaking to Mr C, then repeated the question about calling from that number again. Told him to stop interrupting - surely no one taught him any basic politeness? He just hung up straight away. Tried calling the number back and a woman with a clear American accent said the number’s not in use and to try again later. My advice? Don’t bother.
