that comment from 3rd June was actually pretty handy! i was thinkin along the same lines, maybe it's ISIS or summat like that. just so u know, I'm bein sarcastic here. honestly, dont pick up, just keep hangin up cos they’ll probs keep callin from different or kinda similar numbers so blocking won’t really help much.

I picked up and they just ended the call right away.

Had a missed call on my mobile so I tried ringing back from my work landline but it just kept ringing without answer. Then the same number rang me about 20 minutes later, I picked up and they just hung up straight away. When I tried phoning them again, the operator said the number isn’t valid. I also tested calling from my mobile and it seems they’ve definitely blocked both my work and mobile numbers. Total scam.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be from a streaming service. When I asked her to identify herself, she repeated the exact same words in the same tone, felt like a robo-call. I've blocked the number now!

got a call earlier from a bloke with a strong indian accent, claiming to be from microsoft. he said my computer was badly infected and it was urgent. i reckoned he’d want me to give him remote access, so i told him he was having a laugh and just ended the call. this number’s now blocked for good! was just trying to enjoy a quiet saturday with the papers and these muppets ruin it. such a pain!

just got a call from them. i reckon it was probably some dodgy group like isis or the taliban wanting my card info to fund their bombs and rockets, all in exchange for some old underwear from their granny, a couple of camels and half a weird turban thing, so i didnt pick up.

could be a mistake or one of those computer tricks. best to just block all numbers starting with 0207946xxxx using an app like titer or mr number, they keep ringing from loads of numbers in that series.

I received a recorded message claiming that we’d been involved in some sort of accident. What a surprise! Certainly not something I was aware of. I've now blocked their number.

The line was rather shoddy, but there was a real person on the other end claiming that we’d been involved in an accident.
