I couldn't quite make out the name of the company she mentioned. When I requested her to repeat it, she seemed to disregard my question entirely and straightaway launched into a spiel about whether I’d had an accident in the past three years. Classic scam behaviour! So, I simply told her where to go (not in those exact words, mind you!) and ended the call. Afterward, I promptly blocked the number on my iPhone.

I recently received a rather dodgy call claiming to be from BT about validating my internet connection. They insisted they needed to access my computer, but when I firmly declined, they abruptly disconnected. Definitely feeling there's something fishy going on here!

I received a call from this number, but by the time I reached for my phone, it had already stopped ringing. I suspect it's a scam. In fact, I've had two calls in the past couple of days from someone with a foreign accent pretending to be from BT, asking for access to my computer.

On the 6th of March, 2016, I received a call from this number, but it hung up before I could pick up. Curious, I tried ringing it again using my VoIP service. The line rang for a moment before cutting off abruptly, and I was greeted with a message explaining that I needed to input the country code to connect. I then attempted to call back, but this time with the UK country code, yet I encountered the same frustrating message again.

Undoubtedly a fraudulent call masquerading as Microsoft support. They had the audacity to claim, "We've detected error notifications coming from your computer... and so forth."
