I received a call from someone insisting that I’d been involved in a car accident not long ago, which I absolutely refuted. They abruptly cut the call without so much as an explanation. Quite the charming chat, wasn't it?

Got a call from someone saying they were from "Lackson Steer Specialists" and that they got my number from the "road traffic accident statistics department". When I asked them to spell out their company name, they just hung up on me.

Try using the True Caller app, it pretty much blocks most scam calls straight away. If you get calls from numbers you don’t know, just look them up on this site before answering or ringing back. Cheers!

They said they were from Microsoft saying someone was trying to hack my PC. I got suspicious and just hung up. They called back like three more times nonstop.
