Today I received a call from LAKSON STEER SPECIALIST. I spoke to a woman first, then she connected me to a supervisor called Jakson Mason. He asked for some info like my email and address and told me to sign an email, but I didn’t do it. He also wanted my NIN number. What should I do now? Can someone tell me how to get them to erase my details? I don’t want to make any claim at all.

So bloody frustrating, this bloke rang me and somehow knew about my accident. Then he said he’d send me an email to electronically sign giving them permission. I told him to send a proper letter or email that explains what they’re planning to do before and after, and what exactly I’d be agreeing to, cos I’m not clear on what I might be signing away. He just kept repeating the same rubbish without actually answering my question! The emails come from "LAKSON STEER SPECIALIST" based in Pakistan! Feels like a total dodgy scam to get hold of private bank info.

I kept them chatting for more than half an hour pretending I’d had some kind of accident. They said they’d email me some paperwork and wanted me to sign it to give them permission to send out a package. I avoided opening the email at all since it’s obviously a scam looking to grab your personal info and signature. Opening the link could be dangerous too, might have viruses or try to hack into your stuff.

Just block the whole bunch of numbers like 0207946xxxx using t####er or Mr Number. No use trying to block them one by one cos they just switch it up anyway. Galaxy A3 lets you do this straight from the phone settings too. What apps or phones have worked for you?

Weird thing happened, got a call from this number on my phone - no idea who it was. Tried ringing back and the message said the number wasn’t valid. Got a call earlier today from someone claiming my number was linked to a car crash. I don’t even own a car or drive! When I asked where they got my number from, they just hung up on me.

I got a call from this number and honestly, it’s surprising but it’s a legit CMC (Claims Management Company) that supports folks in claiming their compensation. I followed through their process, received all the letters, compared it with my usual company nearby and I’m actually glad they reached out. In the end, I ended up with a better offer than my local provider. People might have their own ideas about it but my experience wasn’t bad at all.

I've been receiving calls from 020 7946 1827 pretty much every week for over a year now, and it's honestly getting really irritating. If you're getting calls from these people, the first thing you should do is register with the TPS. It might not block all their calls (it didn’t work completely for me), but it does cut out others. After that, report these calls to TPS like I just did. If they’re running a genuine business, they’ll have to quit or face fines. And if it turns out to be a scam like I believe, the cops can step in.

I noticed a missed call from this number and tried ringing back but it said “number not valid.” Then I got a super loud busy signal and weirdly my phone’s camera started up on its own. These individuals purport to be an assistance service for accident insurance claims. However, it seems they are merely automated callers. I believe they go by Glaxo Conciliatory Service or a similar name. Absolutely dodgy, if you ask me.
