I got a call from someone saying they're from "Windows computer support," asking if they could speak to the person who owns the computer. It was just a couple days after my mum and dad's computer got hacked, so I didn't trust it at all. Felt really dodgy to me.

Just received a rather peculiar call on my mobile a short while ago-somebody claiming to be from what I think was called "Luxom *something* Experts" (not entirely sure about that). They were on about a car accident, insisting it was one I’d been involved in that wasn't my fault. Quite amusing, really, since I’m yet to set foot in a car and have never had an accident! If you're on the TPS list, they’re breaking the law by contacting you, so do make certain to file a complaint! I'm in the process of doing just that as well...

They just keep ringing from loads of different numbers, all beginning with 020 7946. It’s obviously just them dialing randomly. Best thing is to block any call from those bits of numbers using an app - it might stop them bothering you again and helps keep people who might not be so strong safe from the hassle.

The line was really patchy. A young woman, sounding quite inexperienced, called saying she had documents about an accident I supposedly had where another driver was at fault. I told her I’m with the police and there’s no way there’d be any official records linked to my number about that. I told her to remove my number from their list straight away. She agreed and just ended the call. Feels like the start of some sort of scam to me...

I've had this number ring me about four times now, always a young woman on the line who starts by mentioning a company name. The problem is, she chats so fast and the call’s so crackly, I can never catch what the company’s called. Then she brings up that I’ve supposedly been in a car crash that wasn’t my fault. I told her I’m sick to death of these rubbish calls and before I could even ask where they got my number or to take me off their list, she’d already hung up. Funny thing is, she rang my mobile while I’m working away in Europe.

Got a robotic call today that asks how I'm doing, but it’s obviously a pre-recorded message so they’re not actually paying attention. It was about a car crash that wasn’t even my fault. I just put the phone down. They’ve kept calling me from loads of numbers where only the last 4 digits change, all beginning with the same digits, like 5 times over the past week. Fingers crossed I don’t get billed for picking up!

If you get calls from any 020 7946 number, just ignore them - they're all dodgy. I’d recommend using a call blocker app to shut them down because they just call back from loads of other numbers. Same goes for 08 and 09 prefixes - best to block those entire ranges or you’ll get hammered by these scammers non-stop.
