If you see a call from 02078, best to just ignore it and hang up straight away. It’s usually a telemarketer or some sort of scam, so you’re better off not wasting your time.

I keep getting calls from 02078 ###, but when I answer, there's just silence. I don’t say anything, just listen and then the caller hangs up. My wife has had the same thing happen to her too, so it’s not just me. Feels a bit suspicious, maybe some kind of scam? Cheers, Philip Powell.

Today I got a call from ###/8/###, but nobody said anything. Just silence. I didn’t pick up and will keep ignoring it if it rings back again.

Got a call from 02078### today claiming to be from BT about my internet running slow, but I’m sure it’s a scam. I had a very similar thing happen yesterday and ended up having to ask the actual BT to step in and keep my laptop safe from these con artists. Just a heads up to anyone else.

I’ve been getting calls from 02078### pretty often lately. Today it rang but nobody said anything when I answered. I’ve checked with BT and they said there’s a call blocking feature I can activate on my phone to hopefully put an end to these annoying calls.

Had a call from 02078### that left a weird voicemail about some kind of case, telling me to press 1 for more info. No clue what they’re on about but it really set me on edge. Anyone know how I can stop getting these calls on my home phone?

Got a call from 02078### around 1.# today, same annoying routine. I asked who was speaking and what they wanted straight away. She said something about benefits, but I’m definitely not on any. When I checked the number, it claims to be a software company. Can’t really tell what accent she had, sounded a bit off. Then I asked her once more what exactly she wanted and she just hung up on me. These calls are just so frustrating!

These 02078 calls have been coming in like clockwork, twice every day for the past four days. I just ignore them and don’t pick up anymore. It’s got so bad that I don’t bother answering my landline at all now. At least on my mobile I can block them easily, but landlines can’t do that. Such a pain!
