I got a call from someone saying they were with the National Lottery syndicate. They already had my full details - name, address, and postcode. Then they tried to convince me by mentioning stuff like "we won’t ask for your credit card info or the digits on the card for security" and warned about scammers, but then casually asked for my bank’s name, account number, and sort code to send the prize money. Obviously, I just ended the call and blocked the number. The guy was actually quite polite and not pushy, but I didn’t even want to hear any more.

02045258157 kept ringing me about Tesco vouchers I supposedly won, even though Inever entered any contest. Then they switched to some EuroMillions syndicate thing, saying they gave winning numbers to a couple who bagged 184 million. They had my email and home address, which was creepy. I asked them to send details by post, and they really weren’t happy about it. The call dragged on for about 25 minutes - they seemed hellbent on wearing me down, but honestly I was just bored ’cause of the rain. Proper dodgy, this one, be careful!
