Someone rang me pretending to be from Maybelline, saying I’d won free tickets for the EuroMillions. They somehow knew my full name and birthday. They then asked for my lucky numbers and even tried to get my bank details. I probably shouldn’t have confirmed my name and birthday, but I did. I ended the call straight away and blocked the number.

Got a call from a lady claiming I’d just “won” a grand - I usually enter these sorts of comps so I thought maybe it was legit. Then she started going on about some free EuroMillions tickets and being part of a group with just 150 others. I just let her carry on chatting. She already had loads of my info - name, address, dob, email and phone. When she asked me where I wanted the winnings paid, I just cracked up and told her it sounded fishy, then hung up. Total SCAMMERS, watch out!

Got a call claiming I won 20 free lottery lines from a competition back in October 2021. They said someone had shared my name, address, DOB, and phone number with them. They asked for my bank info, but I didn’t give it, and then they just hung up. I’m curious when those "free" lottery lines will be sent out! :)
